Conor Barker, PhD, R. Psych. 

Dr. Conor Barker is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology and Faculty of Education at Mount Saint Vincent University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, teaching courses in School Psychology and Inclusive Practices.

Prior to his appointment with the Mount, Dr. Barker served for 15 years in inclusive education as an educational assistant, classroom teacher, special programs teacher, and school psychologist. His research centres on inclusive practices in rural school contexts, knowledge translation of psychology to improve equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, and the development of clinical competency and creative practice within school psychology. Using the expertise afforded to him through his clinical practice, Dr. Barker founded the Barker Psychology Lab, a collective of diverse and specialized scholars dedicated to the pursuit of a broader understanding of diversity within School Psychology
