Conor Barker, PhD

Dr. Conor Barker is an assistant professor with the Department of Education at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, teaching courses on Inclusive Education.

Prior to his appointment with St. Francis Xavier, Conor boasted a lengthy and distinguised career as a School Psychologist. Using the expertise afforded to him through his clinical pursuits, Dr. Barker founded the Barker Research Institute, a collective of specialized academics dedicated to the pursuit of a broader understanding of underesearched topics in Educational Psychology.
